Staufer Team Real Estate
Realtor Designations
REALTOR® Designations Working with a real estate professional who is a REALTOR® is in your best interest. Not everyone who sells real estate is a REALTOR®. Possessing a real estate license does not afford instant REALTOR® status--a distinction of which you need to be aware. A REALTOR® is a member of local, state and national professional trade associations and, as such, has access to a vast array of educational programs, research and resources. By being a member, a REALTOR® subscribes to a strict Code of Ethics developed by the National Association of REALTORS® pledge to provide fair treatment for all parties involved, protect the right of individuals to own property and keep abreast of changes in real estate practice through continuing education and interaction with other professionals. REALTORS® also are committed to higher levels of education and professional development. All real estate agents at Staufer Team Real Estate are REALTORS®. The Graduate REALTOR® Institute, (GRI), is a nationally recognized designation. The designation sets the standards for real estate professionalism, knowledge and productivity, by providing sound training in the critical skills of the real estate business. The GRI designation signifies a dedicated and knowledgeable professional within the industry.
The CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist) network is an exclusive network comprised of 1,500 real estate professionals from 50 countries who deal in all types of real estate, but with one common element: they are specifically trained on the "international" market/client to help better meet their needs. CIPS designees are the consumers' best resource to ensure they are dealing with a professional skilled in the unique aspects of international clientele. The National Association of REALTORS®’ (NAR) GREEN Designation is the definition of green professionalism, excellence, and leadership for today’s real estate practitioners. Specifically designed to address the educational needs of practitioners in residential, commercial, and property management markets, this training program is a true cross-over designation and the only green designation recognized by NAR. A REALTOR® who carries the CNE (Certified Negotiation Expert) designation has been trained in professional negotiation skills. A CNE professional knows how to use leading edge negotiation practices and techniques for your benefit working to achieve the very best results for their client. The CRS® (Certified Residential Specialist) designation is awarded to experienced REALTORS® who complete advanced training in listing and selling, and meet rigorous production requirements. The ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) designee receives specialized training and ongoing skill development to better help the homebuyers that work with them experience more successful real estate transactions. REBAC is the world’s largest organization of real estate professionals focusing on BUYER representation. By providing specialized training and ongoing skill development, REBAC helps its members—and the homebuyers who work with them—experience more successful real estate transactions.
